Twelfth Night

🎭 Twelfth Night in a Nutshell
A romantic comedy of mistaken identities, secret love, and joyful reunions.
🌊 Act I – Shipwreck & Secrets
A young woman named Viola is shipwrecked on the coast of Illyria. Believing her twin brother Sebastian has drowned, she disguises herself as a young man named Cesario and goes to work for Duke Orsino, who is hopelessly in love with Lady Olivia. Orsino sends “Cesario” (Viola in disguise) to deliver his love messages — but Olivia ends up falling for Cesario!
💘 Act II – Love Triangles & Confusion
Viola secretly loves Orsino, Olivia loves Cesario (who’s really Viola), and Orsino is still chasing Olivia. Meanwhile, in Olivia’s household, a prank is being plotted on her grumpy steward Malvolio, by her fun-loving uncle Sir Toby, his friend Sir Andrew, and her maid Maria.
😂 Act III – The Prank Deepens
The prank on Malvolio grows bigger — they trick him into believing Olivia loves him, leading to him acting foolishly and getting locked up. Meanwhile, Viola (as Cesario) is stuck in the middle of Olivia’s love and Orsino’s trust. To make things messier, Viola’s twin brother Sebastian — very much alive — arrives in Illyria.
🎭 Act IV – Mistaken Identities Multiply
Everyone mistakes Sebastian for Cesario. Olivia meets Sebastian (thinking he’s Cesario), and — shockingly — marries him! Viola still has no idea her brother is alive, and confusion peaks.
🎉 Act V – Reveals & Resolutions
Everything is revealed: Viola reveals her true identity, Sebastian and Viola are joyfully reunited, and all confusion is cleared. Orsino, realizing Viola’s love, proposes to her. Malvolio, humiliated by the prank, storms off in anger. The play ends with celebrations, music, and marriages.
